Hollywoodlife.com that he was disappointed in her decision to skip out on her arraignment.
"I think she should have shown up to show respect for the court, that takes priority over anything else. Her legal team should have mandated for her to show up." Lindsay has repeatedly had run-ins with the law and Michael believes her substance abuse problem is to blame. Although jail seems to be the obvious punishment for Lindsay, her father doesn't think that's what she needs. "The best thing the judge can do, and I know the judge is lenient on her, the judge should mandate Lindsay to rehab for a year. If she doesn't go to rehab, fine put her in jail. Lindsay does not belong in jail," Michael explains. "I'm doing everything I can to get her into rehab and no one else is doing anything." Michael also addressed
