Darren Criss in the Meatpacking District of New York City on Sunday Dec. 9. There, I enjoyed an intimate Christmas show at the eBay Toy Box pop-up shop and a one-on-one chat with the
Glee hunk, who revealed the direction of Blaine's future!
Darren Is Sticking Around For The Long Haul
Even though Blaine and Kurt (
Chris Colfer) broke up earlier this season, don't expect Darren to jump ship from the series that made him a household name! Darren told
HollywoodLife.com exclusively, "I hope [
Glee will] have me around for as long as possible. I certainly love that job and I do rue the day it's over, even though it'll be a great jumping off point for a lot of people on the show, ideally."
Blaine's Backstory on Glee
Darren first appeared on
Glee on Nov. 9, 2010, during season two, serving as a friend and mentor to Kurt. Chemistry between the two characters, combined with fan support for the potential couple, led co-creator
Ryan Murphy to link the two characters romantically and promote Darren to series regular
