Kelly Clarkson used Twitter to announce some very happy news -- she's engaged!
Kelly Clarkson's boyfriend of a year,
Brandon Blackstock, a Nashville-based talent manager and
Reba McEntire's stepson, is now her fiancé! Congrats goes out to our favorite
American Idol!
"I'M ENGAGED!!!!!" Kelly announced Dec. 15 on Twitter. "I wanted y'all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever." The Grammy-nominated pop star and her now fiancé met through Clarkson's manager,
Narvel Blackstock, who is married to Reba and conveniently, the father of Brandon. Kelly met Brandon, a succesful talent manager, years ago, while he was working for
Rascal Flatts, but there was just one problem -- he was in a relationship. However, that didn't thwart Kelly's pursuit. She told
Ryan Seacrest a few months ago on his radio show, "We were just in a room together, and then he came up and said he was from the same hometown as me and I was like, 'Oh, we're so getting married' -- I was so that girl."
