Shortly after a complete list of victims' names was released, it was reported that Adam shot each child up to 11 times in his horrific acts of violence on Dec. 14. So sad.
Ana Marquez-Greene, 7,
Jesse Lewis, 6,
Grace McDonnell, 6, and
Emilie Parker, 6, were just a small number of the victims who were killed by
Adam Lanza on Dec. 14 at
Sandy Hook Elementary School. While we already
revealed a number of details about those victims, it's now being reported that the children were shot up to 11 times during their slayings.
"The manner of death for each of the victims was homicide," Chief Connecticut Medical Examiner
H Wayne Carver said on Dec. 15. "Two of the victims were shot at extremely close range, and each child was shot between three and 11 times." Carver and his team were on hand at the school until 12:30AM, identifying and photographing the bodies of the victims. Carver told reporters: "I think everybody was hit more than once." Thankfully, parents were not called in to identify their child's body. Instead, recent photos were used to compare to the deceased bodies.
