All the young ladies are invited as well – you can even have a chance to meet the president.” While speaking at an event for the People of Freedom party in Lombardy, the younger brother of former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi has been filmed making racist remarks about AC Milan’s newly-acquired striker Mario Balotelli at an electoral campaign meeting. Paolo Berlusconi, who is vice president of AC Milan, is also the editor of il Giornale which is seen as a paper that is pro Silvio Berlusconi and his People of Freedom party. * The irony is that just last month, AC Milan was involved in a racism abuse situation where KVB actually walked off the pitch while being racially abused by some idiot spectators, during a friendly. Here is the thing, I’m black. African-American. Or whatever you want to call it, so things like this hit verrrrry close to home when they happen. I dont know that this cat is racist. I would actually go as far as to say that he probably isnt. Maybe he is. The one thing that we do know, is that he’s stupid. Like, how do you figure its ok to start dropping n-bombs with a mic in your hand at a political rally? Since when did it become ok to refer to someone in the way that he did for Mario? You want to know the cruel irony of this whole thing? Its that Mario has to deal with this kind of bullshit. Maybe you like the kid, maybe you don’t. But one of the things that is always lost in an event like this, or in bullying or in sex abuse or whatever … is always the question of what did he do to deserve this other than come back home and play for a team that he loves. I feel bad for the dude. Paolo is an idiot and he has to deal with whatever he has to deal with from all of the fall out, but now Mario has to answer a million questions a million times because some rich politician who has no sense of reality started talking reckless and brought his name into it…. thats all.
