Justin promotes his Feb. 9 ‘SNL’ gig with five ‘un-belieb-ably good’ promo clips! (Just kidding, they’re actually all super-awkward.)
In just three short days, Justin Bieber will be dominating the airwaves as the host and musical guest of Saturday Night Live; and to help get beliebers even more stoked, Justin’s appearing in a series of promos with Kenan Thomspon, which range from fun and clever to just plain uncomfortable.
Promo No. 1: Kenan Reveals He’s A Belieber
Things get weird when Justin discovers that Kenan has an entire wall dedicated to him.
“So creepy,” says the Biebs, to which Kenan tries to defend himself by saying, “I’m just a fan.”
Promo No. 2: Justin’s Eyes
OK, this one was pure fan bait. After Kenan asks Justin if he’s used to having millions of eyes on him all the time, Justin tells him he’s only focused on “this one pair of eyes.” So, whose eyes is Justin talking about? Selena Gomez‘s? His mom, Pattie Mallette‘s?
Trick question! Justin pulls out a pair of slinky-eye glasses, to which Kenan responds, “You’re a weird dude.”
(And we reply, “Cheap!”)
Promo No. 3: ‘You Better Belieb It!’
Proving there’s no limit to the amount of puns you can make using Justin’s name, Kenan whips out a few gems: “You better belieb it!” and “It’s un-belieb-ably good!”
Justin looks embarrassed… as should everyone.
Promo No. 4: Justin’s Stalker
We already know Kenan is a Justin fan — see promo No. 1 for proof — but apparently he’s also a little confused. In this promo, Kenan reveals he’s been “stalking the wrong dude” all this time.
Promo No. 5: Is Justin Nervous?
Ending things on a delightfully cheesy note, Kenan asks Justin if he’s nervous, to which the Biebs replies, “No. I’m Justin!”
Cue handshake. Cue cheesy back-to-pack pose. Cue sparkly tooths.
