The world’s most productive incarcerated rapper continues to excite fans from behind bars. Now that Chief Keef’s ‘Got Cash,’ he’s ready to announce his first post-jail concert.

Chief Keef is using every angle he can to promote himself — “Free Sosa” T-shirts, his new single “I Got Cash” and now, he’s announcing his first post-jail concert.

Chief, who was given a 60-day sentence for violation of probation on Jan. 17, took it to Twitter to announce some big news.

“@ChiefKeef march 23 show in Indiana geneses center see you there …Sosa baby….,” the 17-year-old tweeted on Feb. 3.

When Chief announced he was selling “Free Sosa” T-shirts, the website crashed due to high demand. We can only imagine what’s going to happen now that he’s announced a concert date!

You know what they say — “all publicity is good publicity.” This is exactly what Chief Keef needs right now, especially with rumors swirling about the possibility of Chief being dropped from his Interscope record label.

Chief Keef — Steep Demands From Record Company

Chief needs to sell 250,000 copies of his debut album. From the looks of it, he shouldn’t have a problem. Chief’s manager Dro Manuel seems to agree.

According to Gather News, Dro says, “With us doing what we did without promotions, videos, nothing, we’ve already sold 170, 180 [thousand copies] and we have until December. So, I’m not worried about that, no one’s worried about that. We’re gonna beat that with our eyes closed without doing anything.”

In attempt to keep pushing record sales, on Feb. 1, Chief Keef also used Twitter to promote Finally Rich and Back From The Dead.

Endless Cycle Of Trouble?

Chief’s label is worried that his jail-time won’t change him, but Dro seems adamant that it will have a major effect on the teen rapper and his music — in a good way.

What do you think, Hollywoodlifers? Will Chief Keef come out of jail a changed man? Will you be getting tickets to his next show?
