There appeared to be no wardrobe advisory at the 2013 BRIT Awards, because Jessie J wore a cleavage-baring gown that would have gotten her banned from the Grammys! She, Taylor Swift and Amy Winehouse’s dad, Mitch, were just some of the stars who turned heads on the red carpet at the O2 Arena on Feb. 20.
Amy, who died in July 2011 from accidental alcohol poisoning, is up for best British female artist. She is eligible thanks to her posthumous Lioness: Hidden Treasures album. In turn, it makes sense for her dad to show his full support on the carpet. We think it’s adorable and heart-warming!
Taylor, who is infamous for wearing revenge dresses, did the same at the BRIT Awards, wearing a black gown with sheer panels over her legs. When you got it, flaunt it, right? And seeing as how One Direction walked the carpet in dapper suits, we can only imagine that Taylor wore this sexy gown to get Harry Styles‘ attention. Plus, her gold belt was the icing on the cake. Way to go, Taylor!
Furthermore, Jessie J was one of the best dressed of the night with her cleavage-baring gown, accessorized by her slicked back hair.
