In color-coordinated purple and blue dresses the youngest members of the fashionable First Family brought out their best for their dad’s big day — get all the details on their pretty dresses right here!
Sasha, 11, and Malia Obama, 14, definitely take after their mom when it comes to their fashion! The girls looked perfectly polished in their feminine dresses for the second inauguration of their dad, Barack Obama, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day in Washington, D.C. — the girls looked adorable! They seemed to color-coordinate, with Sasha wearing a purple sleeveless dress and Malia in a blue long-sleeved frock. Sasha really seems to be taking after her mom, wearing a purple sleeveless J. Crew dress and a statement necklace — two of Michelle’s staples!
Obama Daughters Inauguration Dresses:
Malia’s J. Crew dress matched the pretty plum peacoat she wore to the inaugural ceremony, while her older sister showed off a blue coat and matching dress by Kate Spade New York. She paired the long-sleeved “Carolyn” dress with the “Patrice” coat.
While the girls opted for pretty colors, their mom, Michelle Obama, wore a navy and gray dress by New York designer Thom Browne. The custom-made frock had a matching checkered coat that the fashionable First Lady showed off earlier today. Michelle looked so pretty in the print — and it fit her perfectly! Underneath the coat, Michelle wore a dress with a navy cardigan. Her look was appropriate and chic — and that’s exactly what we would expect from Michelle!
The First Lady is no stranger to Thom Browne’s designs. In fact, she wore a gray dress with a black lace print to the second Presidential Debate during the election back in October.
The girls both looked so appropriate and chic in their stylish looks! Did you like what they were wearing for the Inauguration?
