Poor Kristen: She’s worked so hard for Rob’s forgiveness. It’s not right that his family didn’t invite her to Christmas and welcome her back with open arms.
When Robert Pattinson went home to London for Christmas with his family, it’s likely that he would have loved to have the woman – Kristen Stewart — that he still loves, by his side.
Kristen & Rob Spend Christmas Apart
But according to a new report by OK! magazine, Kristen didn’t spend the holiday with Rob and his family because they haven’t fully forgiven her for her affair with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders.
Rob’s two older sisters, Lizzy and Victoria, are especially suspicious of Kristen, 22, and after the affair, they tried to “talk Rob into ditching Kristen for good,” according to the magazine.
Rob’s Sisters Should Forgive Kristen
Yes, I get it — they’re close to Rob, they’re older, and it’s natural that they’re protective of their little brother, 26.
But they need to back off and swallow their distaste for Kristen. Kristen has made a big effort to win forgiveness from Rob’s sisters and his parents after her affair.
She knew that she need to do that because Rob is close to his family.
In fact, at HollywoodLife.com, we had heard that Victoria and Lizzy had been won over by Kristen. “Kristen reached out to Rob’s sisters and expressed how sorry she was,” and that “they were proud to see how far she had come.”
That’s why it’s surprising that Rob’s sisters still weren’t ready to have Kristen at the family’s home for the holiday.
Rob’s sisters need to back off and accept that their brother is a grown man who can make his own decisions. Since he has forgiven Kristen, they need to support him and not try to come between their brother and his girlfriend.
It would have meant so much to Kristen to be included in Rob’s family Christmas, instead of having to fly in after, on Dec. 27, to spend time with Rob on New Year’s Eve.
Kristen Visits Rob Anyway
But it just shows how much Kristen is committed to making her relationship with Rob work. Even though his family didn’t include her for Christmas, instead of having an argument about it with Rob, she accepted the situation and just flew in, in a very low-key way, so they could be together for New Year’s. That was a smart move, Kristen. Rob will appreciate you being cool and not creating more drama by demanding that he chose between you and family.
But I’m warning Rob’s sisters — you really don’t want to come between Rob and Kristen. Romantic partners always win out when family tries to go against them.
If Rob truly loves Kristen — and it appears that he does — then he will ultimately choose Kristen over his sisters if they persist in giving K-Stew the cold shoulder.
Rob’s sisters would be smarter to warm up to Kristen fast and support him now in his decision to get back together with her.
Next year, she should be welcomed back into the Pattinson family fold with open arms!
