Paul Giamatti recreates a legendary scene between Edward & Bella, and it’s hysterical!

The Twilight Saga may have come to an end — we’re still in denial, to be honest — but its memory will never die. The timeless exchanges between Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) will be etched into our hearts and memories forever, like the one Rob’s Cosmopolis co-star Paul Giamatti recently recreated during a hilarious new interview.

While promoting his new movie John Dies At The End — um, spoiler alert! — Paul sat down with Vulture’s Julie Klausner to reenact several passionate scenes from famous romantic films. Enter Twilight.

The scene Paul and Julie play out is actually one of our favorites: Edward and Bella’s romantic dance scene at the end of the first movie. Though it isn’t quite as romantic as watching Rob and Kristen act it out — Paul’s Edward is much louder and more intense — it’s definitely hilarious.

But when Paul isn’t goofing on Rob’s melodramatic franchise, he’s singing his co-star’s praises.

“He’s very good for the part,” Paul told HollywoodLife.com about Rob being cast in Cosmopolis back in March 2011. “He’s great! Absolutely love the guy. … It's based on a novel. It's mostly about that Robert Pattinson guy — he's a very wealthy banker. It's about a day in his life basically. But it's a very strange and sinister story.”
