Things may not be looking too rosy for Finchel, but Lea Michele and Cory Monteith‘s relationship is stronger than ever. Lea, 26, opened up about her relationship with Cory, 30, saying that Cory is her “celebrity crush” and speaking about how they make their relationship work.
Lea Michele Gushes About Cory Monteith
There is no question that Lea is head over heels about her Glee co-star and boyfriend Cory. While Rachel Berry might be shacking up with Brody, Lea’s heart lies firmly with Cory. Lea spoke about what makes their relationship work in a new interview, and it’s so cute!
“I really think finding someone that you are best friends with is the secret," Lea told Life&Style. "I'm dating my celebrity crush!" she admits. Aw!
Lea and Cory met on set in 2009, but they did not begin dating until late 2011. Lea has previously tweeted her excitement at getting to work with Cory, as they have seen less of each other since there characters split up: Rachel moved to New York while Finn has remained in Lima. And as a way to show her unwavering affection, Lea has begun wearing a “Cory” necklace.
Lea's Feelings For Cory
Lea was Marie Claire's December cover star, and she opened up to the magazine about her relationship with her co-star.
"I don't even remember a time when he wasn't my boyfriend," said Lea. "No one knows me better than Cory. No one knows what it's been like to go through this more than he does. Feeling like you have that net underneath you allows you to jump higher and go farther," she said. "He makes me feel like I can do anything. For the first time in my life, I feel really, really settled and happy. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world."
