Justin’s new acoustic album will drop on Jan. 29, and apparently it will ‘tell his side of the story’ — is he going to dish all the dirty details about his split with Selena?
Selena Gomez used her performance at the third annual Acoustic Charity Concert for UNICEF on Jan. 19 to sing revenge songs to Justin Bieber. Her performance of Justin Timberlake's “Cry Me A River” spoke volumes about how she feels about Justin, and now it looks like he’s taking a page out of her book, by using music to express how he really feels. On Jan. 21, he retweeted a message, where he promised that his new album Believe will show us “how he feels.” Selena should be worried!
Justin Bieber Tweets About His New Music
On Jan. 21, Justin retweeted this message from @JustinSoSwaggy: “Nervous but excited to here what justin has to say. We finally get to hear his side of the story and how he feels. #8days #proud :)” How pointed! Justin is clearly taking a jab at Selena. As HollywoodLife.com previously reported that Justin tweeted about his new songs being “honest”, and he said the album would address his and Selena’s break up.
He tweeted “Excited for #20Days from now when my acoustic album will let u know how I feel about what is going on in my life instead of rumors guessing. Put it in the music. Guess all u want I speak for myself. #20Days." on Jan. 9.
It looks like this album is really going to hit Selena where it hurts!
Selena Gomez Sings Revenge Songs
Selena sang two revenge songs about Justin at the UNICEF concert. "I've been through a lot the last couple of months. It's been sad and cool, but interesting. This song definitely speaks to me," Selena told the crowd before singing "Cry Me A River." At the end of the song, Selena let out a very sly laugh and then said, "Well, enough of that!"
Selena also took another swipe at Justin when she performed BFF Taylor Swift's song "I Knew You Were Trouble." Selena told the crowd that she wanted to sing a song that her "best friend in the entire world" wrote. "If you've ever felt pain, you know this one," she said before singing the tune. Throughout the song, Selena was smiling, but seemed really passionate about the lyrics. At the very end, she let out a very sly and intentional laugh.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Is Justin’s plan to use his music to show how he feels petty? Or is he just getting Selena back?
