Selena Gomez used her performance at the third annual Acoustic Charity Concert for UNICEF on Jan. 19 to let the world in on the pain she’s been feeling since her break-up with Justin Bieber. She performed two infamous revenge songs, Justin Timberlake‘s “Cry Me A River” and BFF Taylor Swift‘s “I Knew You Were Trouble,” sending a clear message to her ex and her fans. Selena’s song choices could prompt Justin to make a musical retaliation, but should he take the bait?
HollywoodLife.com‘s Editor-in-Chief Bonnie Fuller believes that the Biebs ought to play the gentleman and avoid striking back at his former girlfriend. She believes that it will alienate his female fans, who could feel that he is unfairly attacking Selena!

Selena Gomez Seeks Revenge On Justin Bieber
When Selena took to the stage at her benefit concert, she raised quite a few eyebrows with her surprising song choices. Besides singing a bevy of her own hits, she also performed J.T.’s “Cry Me A River,” a song the pop legend wrote in 2002, allegedly about his own failed relationship with Britney Spears. Before launching into the hit, Selena told the audience, “I've been through a lot the last couple of months. It's been sad and cool, but interesting. This song definitely speaks to me.”
She followed that one up with a rendition of her bestie Taylor’s diss track, “I Knew You Were Trouble”.
