HollywoodLife.com spoke with an employee at Mother’s soul food restaurant in New Orleans and they told us that Beyonce and Jay-Z came were in a ‘great mood’ when they popped in for a quick 30-minute-dinner and there’s even more proof that Beyonce could be pregnant!
Beyonce and Jay-Z skipped the Inaugural Ball to have a quiet dinner in New Orleans on Jan. 21. An employee tells HollywoodLife.com that Beyonce and Jay-Z came into the restaurant around 8:30pm and didn’t even call ahead for a reservation!
The Details Of Their Romantic Date
A waiter tells us: “They pulled up in a few cars and they walked in with their body guard.”
The server also told us that Beyonce had the fried fish and Jay had the Calamari. They also had potato salad and crawfish et tu fay and neither of them drank alcohol, they opted for iced tea. This gives us further reason to believe that she is pregnant!
“They were sitting really close to each other,” the server said. “They were acting like any other couple, they were laughing and having a good time.”
The employee added that they paid with a credit card and no, it wasn’t the American Express Black Card.
Beyonce Lip Syncs National Anthem Hours Before Their Date
HollywoodLife.com also spoke with Kristin DuBois, the Public Affairs Chief for the Marine Corps Band who accompanied Beyonce during the National Anthem: “We don't at all we know why she decided to go with the pre-recorded music. All music [for the Inauguration] is pre-recorded as a matter of course. The Marine Band performed live and we received word at the last minute. Colonel Colborne and Officer Perry were standing right there, and I'm not sure who they were in contact with, but Perry gave the word to go with the pre-recorded track at the last minute. I can say that what is common is every four years someone wants to say someone is lip syncing, and four years ago it was Yo Yo Ma. He even admitted it and said well yes, it was 25 degrees, a cello can't make a sound in those conditions. It's not because she couldn't sing, something had to have happened that prevented her from doing that. Kelly Clarkson did sing live and the band accompanied her. James Taylor … I don't know. We are speaking on our behalf. We don't know why she did it and all we know is what happened. Our role was to perform the National Anthem.”
