AMC has released a trailer for their brand new drama 'Bates Motel.' But make sure all the lights are on before you press play because it's creepy and oh so scary!
Bates Motel is not the same
Psycho that your parents grew to know and fear! It's a prequel series to the
Alfred Hitchcock classic and it looks absolutely terrifying!
The Premise Of 'Bates Motel'
Troubled teen Norman Bates (
Freddie Highmore) and his mother Norma Louise (
Vera Farmiga) take over the infamous motel after moving to a Northern California town where nothing is as it seems.
The Masterminds Behind 'Bates Motel'
On top of Freddie and Vera's presence on the series, the new drama will be executive produced by
LOST mastermind
Carlton Cuse and
Friday Night Lights' Kerry Ehrin. Nester Carbonell, best known as the ageless Richard Alpert on
LOST will also join cast alongside Freddie, Vera and newcomer
Max Thieriot, who plays Norman's rebellious older brother, Dylan. "When I knew Carlton was doing it, I knew it was gonna be sensational," Nester, who plays a suspicious town sheriff, recently told E!. "He sent me the first six scripts, and I was blown away." "This town looks really beautiful on the outside," Carlton
