Bachelor fans were treated to an extended preview of the upcoming 17th season Dec. 16 after
Ashley Hebert and
J.P. Rosenbaum's wedding special; and along with gratuitous shots of
Sean Lowe walking shirtless on the beach — he does his best thinking that way — we were also introduced to the newest
Bachelor villain:
Tierra LiCausi, who might be the franchise's nastiest contestant yet.
"I'm above anyone else," Tierra screeches in the promo, demonstrating her incredible friend-making abilities. "I'm not going to let any girl stop me from being with Sean. ... I will bite." So it should probably come as no surprise that Tierra's fellow contestants kind of hate her. And considering previous promos have promised "red-hot tears" — which actually sounds like a serious medical condition — I'm thinking it'll be Tierra making the other girls cry. The extended preview also introduced us to
Desiree Hartsock, who may or may not still have a boyfriend. A man is seen trying to win her back at her house — spoiler alert: she obviously makes it to the home-town dates — and he even tries to
