
Southern Cross Austereo has 'terminated' the radio show responsible for the Kate Middleton prank call and will implement 'a company-wide suspension of prank calls.'
Michael Christian and
Mel Greig, the
radio DJs responsible for the prank call to
Kate Middleton's hospital room at King George VII Hospital on Dec. 4,
may not be fired, but they just lost their show 2Day FM's Hot 30 as the company who owns it, Souther Cross Austereo, "terminated" it on Dec. 10. This decision comes after the nurse who answered the call and patched it through to Kate's room,
Jacintha Saldanha, was found dead on Dec. 6 from a suspected suicide.
