Today Tonight, regarding their infamous prank call to
Kate Middleton's hospital room that allegedly resulted in a nurse,
Jacintha Saldanha, taking her own life out of guilt.
Mel and Michael said they were devastated and wanted to apologize to the family of Jacintha, a mother of two. "The first thing I asked was: 'Was she a mother?'" a very emotional Mel said. "If we played any involvement in her death then we're very sorry for that. We couldn't foresee what was going to happen in the future."
