Hector "Macho" Camacho was tragically killed after getting shot in the face on Tuesday Nov. 20 while sitting in a car outside the Puerto Rican capital.
Adrian Mojica Moreno, Hector's childhood friend, 49, who was also in the vehicle, was also shot after an unknown gunman opened fire in the city of Bayamon, according to a statement from the police. Adrian died on the scene. Hector was rushed to Centro Medico, the trauma center in San Juan, where he was in critical but stable condition. Unfortunately he suffered cardiac arrest and his condition worsened. The bullet apparently struck him in the jaw, but exited his head and lodged itself in his right shoulder and fracture two vertebrae, Dr. Ernesto Torres, the hospital director said. Hector's mother allegedly made the decision to pull Hector off life support on Saturday Nov. 24. "For me, he's not alive,"
