Miley Cyrus Has Online Meltdown Defending Justin Bieber Jan 2nd 2013, 14:40 After a photographer was killed chasing Justin’s Ferrari, Miley has taken to Twitter to defend her friend and slam the ‘dangerous’ paparazzi. Miley Cyrus has stepped up to defend her friend Justin Bieber, after a paparazzo was tragically killed in a traffic accident when taking pictures of his Ferrari on Jan. 1 in L.A. Justin made a public statement saying that his “thoughts and prayers” are with the victim’s family, and Miley has since taken to Twitter to say that this was not Justin’s fault, and that “It is unfair for anyone to put this on to Justin’s conscious.” Do YOU agree? Miley’s Reaction Miley took to Twitter on Jan. 2 to defend Justin, as she says that the paparazzi are dangerous, and Justin should not be blamed. “Hope this paparazzi/JB accident brings on some changes in ’13 Paparazzi are dangerous! Wasn’t Princess Di[ana] enough of a wake up call?!” wrote Miley. “It is unfair for anyone to put this on to Justin’s conscious as well! This was bound to happen! Your mom teaches u when your a child not to play in the street! The chaos that comes with the paparazzi acting like fools makes it impossible for anyone to make safe choices.” Miley and Justin both know very well the hazards of being chased by photographers, as they are both photographed so often. In fact, Justin has previously been ticketed for speeding when he attempted to get away from the paparazzi in the past. The Incident The tragic accident occurred when a photographer saw Justin’s parked car on the 405 highway, and he crossed the busy road on foot to take some pictures. As he returned to his car, he was hit by a vehicle and killed. "While I was not present nor directly involved with this tragic accident, my thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim," Justin said in a statement. "Hopefully this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders, and the photographers themselves," he added.
