Kathy Griffin decided to wrap up 2012 with a bang — sort of. The comedienne shocked viewers when she suggestively tried to give Anderson Cooper oral sex during CNN’s live New Year’s Eve broadcast after making jokes about his “sack.”
The 52-year-old said she was going to “tickle his sack” as he laughed back. “You can say sack, that’s not bad,” she continued.
Then she simulated giving oral sex to him on air — crazy!
But this came as no surprise to Anderson. In fact, it’s almost as he was anticipating her racy antics.
“As always, I await New Year’s Eve with Kathy Griffin with grave reservations and tremendous fear, and I want to apologize in advance to anyone she may offend/assault/attempt to kiss,” he tweeted before going on air on Dec. 31.
Kathy responded acting clueless.
“I don’t know what Anderson has been doing this past year. I assume he has been sitting, eating Bon Bons in his mother’s apartment [while] watching reality TV, while I was helping spread democracy in Egypt or Syria or whichever,” she tweeted.
Obviously, Kathy was just joking — but she may have taken it a little too far considering so many people across the country were tuning in!
