Talk about an awkward, yet interesting encounter! Jennifer Lopez and her much younger man Casper Smart ran into her famous ex-boyfriend P. Diddy at the Weinstein party on Jan. 13 in Beverly Hills following the Golden Globe awards.
According to The Daily Mail, 43-year-old J.Lo was overheard greeting P. Diddy, saying “Hello baby” as she planted a big kiss on his cheek right before introducing him to Casper.
As for Diddy, 43, who is now in a happy relationship with girlfriend Cassie, he seemed genuinely interested in meeting Casper. The rap mogul was photographed smiling while extending his hand to shake the 25-year-old dancer’s as the trio chatted inside the event.
How Awkward Was The Encounter?
Although it could have an awkward encounter, to say the least, it appears Jennifer and Diddy are mature adults who have both moved on in their careers and relationships and don’t appear to harbor any bad feelings for one another.
As you probably know, Jennifer and Diddy began dating back in 1999, but their love for one another came to a screeching halt two years later after the both were arrested over a nightclub shooting in New York.
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, the 70th annual Golden Globe Awards brought Hollywood's brightest stars to the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Jan. 13 — and J.Lo and Casper stunned on the red carpet.
How Casper Is Jennifer’s Best Friend
Jennifer told Harper's Bazaar that Casper supports her in every way possible.
"He's fantastic; he's like my best friend. I can tell him everything, when I'm feeling down, when I'm feeling good. He gives moral support, endless love and support."
