More information is coming out about the devastating plane crash that left Mexican-American popstar Jenni Rivera and six others dead on Dec. 9 -- her remains have been found and now investigators are trying to find out what caused the crash.

Ruiz Esparza, Mexico's secretary of communications and transportation said. Despite the fact that investigators believe they found her remains, Jenni's mother believes she was
kidnapped and could still be alive. "I still trust God that perhaps the body isn't hers," Jenni's mother
Rosa Saavedra said. " in a press conference Tuesday, adding that she could have been kidnapped and another woman was at the crash site. 'We're hoping it's not true, that perhaps someone took her and left another woman there." So far, Jenni's drivers license was found near the wreckage. It turns out the plane fell more than 28,000 feet and hit the ground at 600 miles per hour. Six others were killed aboard the Learjet.
