Just six weeks after their wedding, Chad Johnson, 34, was arrested on Aug. 11 for domestic violence after he allegedly assaulted his wife Evelyn Lozada, 37. Evelyn immediately filed for divorce Chad on Aug. 14, but now it seems the couple is considering a reunion.
Evelyn and her estranged husband Chad were all smiles when they were photographed together on a date in Miami on Dec. 30. MediaTakeOut.com reports that not only are the former NFL player and Basketball Wives star back together — they’ve also moved back in together.

The Alleged Assault
According to TMZ, Chad and Evelyn got into a heated argument when Evelyn discovered a receipt for condoms in the couple’s Maserati. When she confronted Chad about the receipt, they began fighting and Chad allegedly head-butted her.
When police arrived at the scene, Evelyn had lacerations on her forehead and she was immediately rushed to the hospital. Chad was arrested and held on $2500 bond.
After the arrest, Chad’s contract with the Miami Dolphins was terminated. On Aug. 29, the NFL star took to twitter to make an apology.
“Don't feel bad, my black ass messed up, I made the bed now I gotta lay n it RT @MissShaiMUA: I actually feel bad for @ochocinco Idk why tho."
Chad has been charged with domestic battery and could face up to a year in jail if convicted.
