The Dallas Buyers Club. During the Nov. 20 episode of
Good Morning America, Matthew revealed the details of his weight loss and the struggles he'll face ahead.
"Overall, I probably got 35% less energy [now]," Matthew said in an interview that appeared on
GMA. Making light of the situation, though, Matthew continued by discussing the struggles he faces. He said, "I don't want to be doing this interview at a pizza hut buffet. I choose to pick my places with less good smell." Matthew went from 181 pounds down to 143 pounds, losing a fourth of his body mass. "It's 90 percent diet. Right now, I'm not losing anymore weight if I burn 1500 calories, two hours of cardio in an afternoon, or I don't," he added.
