Robin Roberts Breaks Down: 'I Didn't Know If I Could' Return To 'GMA' Feb 21st 2013, 19:41 It’s been quite the emotional journey for ‘Good Morning America’ host Robin Roberts. On Thursday, Feb. 21, she sat down with the ladies of ‘The View,’ where she got choked up about the fears she had throughout her fight with cancer and MDS. She already fought off breast cancer, so when Robin Roberts was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), a disease of the blood and bone marrow, she put on a brave face and fought back. Just 174 days after her bone marrow transplant, she returned to Good Morning America, showing she was healthy. Sitting down with The View on Thursday Feb. 21, she revealed that she had fears about the possibility of not being able to return to her TV home. Robin first took time to explain to the women of The View how she prepared to come back, and what her plans were. Whoopi Goldberg then asked the ABC host if there was ever a time she thought she may not be able to return to that chair she loves so much. This, is what moved Robin to tears. After a pause, and a moment of closing her eyes and composing herself, she told Whoopi and the ladies, “I didn’t know if I could come back.” She explained that she worked really hard, and began getting into the schedule of waking up before 4AM to get her body ready. “Not that I wouldn’t want to, but I didn’t know if I could — if it was something that was going to be possible,” she said of her return. Luckily for us, it was possible and she’s now back at the desk, where she belongs. She admits that she will be taking it slow, though. For example, she’s interviewing Michelle Obama on Feb. 22, in the afternoon, then flying to Los Angeles to do Oscar coverage. So, to rest before her crazy weekend, she will not be on GMA tomorrow morning. We are so happy to see Robin healthy and back on our TVs in the AM. Feb 21st 2013, 19:04 A source close to the couple says of Diane & Josh’s marriage, ‘it’s not ugly, it’s just over.’ Start digging a hole, because we’ve got a new addition to Hollywood’s ever-expanding marriage graveyard. Diane Lane and Josh Brolin have decided to end their eight-year marriage, their rep confirms, a decision they came to after much consideration. “Diane Lane and Josh Brolin have decided to end their marriage,” their rep confirms to Us Weekly. Meanwhile, a source close to the couple insists that all is well between the two; they simply decided it was time to part ways. “It was a mutual decision,” the source tells the mag. “It is very amicable. It’s not ugly, it’s just over.” The couple has apparently been living separately for several months, but only now confirmed their plans to divorce. Josh Brolin & Diane Lane’s Troubled Life Together Josh, 45, and Diane, 48, tied the knot in Aug. 2004 getting engaged in July 2003. But while they appeared happy together on red carpets, they had their fair share of troubles. Josh was arrested on Dec. 20, 2004 on a spousal battery charge after a heated argument with Diane. He was released on $20,000 bail, and a spokesperson for the couple described their confrontation as a “misunderstanding.” More recently, Josh was arrested Jan. 1, 2013 in Los Angeles on a misdemeanor of public intoxication. Both stars are familiar with the art of divorce. Both stars were married to other actors from 1988 to 1994 — Diane was with Christopher Lambert, while Josh was with Alice Adair.
